Early Years Foundation Stage - Learning Through Play

We follow themes that the children are interested in, encouraging parents and children to contribute with ideas allowing for a responsive curriculum, where each child makes a positive contribution.

We follow the Early Years Foundation Stage which supports each child in their learning and development. Children benefit from our group learning as well as small group work and one to one learning.

We are a pack away setting which allows us to provide different resources and activities inside and out each day.

We recognise that each child has their own unique style of learning. We offer exciting learning opportunities to enable them to make good progress.

We work closely with our families to make them feel welcome and part of our pre-school and the events we offer.

Children are exceptionally well supported by staff to feel comfortable, safe and ready to learn. Children’s emotional well-being and welfare is the highest priority for staff.
Parents overwhelmingly report that staff are nurturing and offer the very best care for their children.
Staff know the children they care for very well. They plan highly engaging activities to motivate the children to learn.
